Terms of Service

1. What TONE AI does

TONE AI takes a recording you make with your microphone and uses it to generate an original musical composition and an accompanying vertical video. Output is produced by machine learning models and is generated fresh each time. Identical input will not produce identical output.

2. Your account

Access requires a Google account. You are responsible for everything done through your account. One person, one account. Sharing credentials, reselling access, or automating the service through anything other than the website is a breach of these terms and may end in termination without refund.

3. Credits

TONE AI is prepaid. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per generation at the rate shown on the pricing screen at the time you generate. Credits carry no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money. There is no free tier, free trial, or complimentary credit.

4. What you may record

Record only your own voice or sounds you have the right to use. Do not submit recordings of copyrighted performances, other people without their consent, or material that is unlawful, hateful, sexual involving minors, or intended to harass. Recordings are screened by automated safety systems and rejected submissions are refunded automatically.

5. Rights in your output

You own the audio and video files you generate and may use them commercially, including on social platforms. TONE AI claims no ownership of your output. Generated tracks carry an inaudible SynthID watermark applied by the underlying model, and generated videos carry a visible TONE AI mark. Neither may be removed, obscured, or altered.

6. Availability

The service depends on third-party model providers and is offered as-is. Features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits beyond what section 3 of the Refund Policy provides.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TONE AI's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the ninety days preceding the claim. TONE AI is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Where termination is for breach, unused credits are forfeited.
